if you saved under favoruites with your id. that will be visible to you. whoever login with your id same they can see you.
in future users may use their own ids. but their ids may applied authorisations as per they needs. it won't all all roels as we have.
As you said to appear the same to all users, basis may be helpful in this. they may use copy options may stored the place where every user can access/visible.
Mean at start of sap log on screen. if we add as favorites. same screen may appear to all. that kind of activity may be done basis team.
