How to default absence hours in IT2001 or 0.5 absence days for Absence type

Hi All,

I am assigning absence type from shift planning and there are scenarios where employee are absence for 0.5 days.

the thing is, I wanted to automatically assign the absence hours and days as 0.5 via PP61.

Can anyone share some lights? I tried using counting rule and set Quota multiplier to 50% but that only changes the payroll hours and payroll days.

Have anyone done this before?
