If a customer is willing to use one of the standard SAP delivered models as is, that is great. But first make sure the customer understands the standard model and has data available exactly per the model that they can readily provide. Given how different companies and their S&OP processes are, more often than not, configuration is required for phase1, and yet more configuration as the customer uses the tool over time. That is while S&OP on HANA is made to be re-configurable by consultants and customers.
