Why does MESSAGE not work?

I put my code in BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST's method CLOSE() and did some enhancement. I add MESSAGE 'test' TYPE 'I'. without any judgement, but nothing happened. Could you tell me what is wrong with my code?
