you are right. I have read the note again.
"Solution Manager builds the System ID from the first 3 chars of the BO cluster name. By default the BO cluster name is built from the hostname and the CMS port number. The SID will then be the first 3 characters of the hostname. In addition to this 3 character SID Solution Manager also assigns a 8 character extended SID which is built from the 3 character SID and if that is not unique it is extended with a 5 digit number."
I was confused by some AC tool instruction, namely I repeated a node name (IAD) from boe.home in boe.system. After I had changed boe.system to <host name>:<port number> the error message disappeared.
