Are you looking for shift planning module in SAP HCM? or Are you simply expecting the work schdule in Time management?
when this is for hospital, obviosly there will be lot of shift for nurses, doctors and other staffs.
First, talk to the client and get their requirment and later you can decide how many shifts they need. probably try to go for streamline process. since client will expect unwanted shifts as well. once you relasied then you have to do the config.
As usual, we have to create daily workschdule with break schdule, Period workschdule, work schdule rule and finaly generate the workschdule.
You should consider the PSA and ESG grouping for work schdule. This is important when you need to segregate the deferent deferent shift based on personnel Area and Employee group
