Hi,

 

Have you maintained System E-Mail Addresses in UME Configuration?

 

Can you please check the Mail server that you have configured have any firewall in place.

 

Then check the connectivity by  telnet hostname port(mostly port no will be 25)

 

Please check the connectivity to the mail server is working fine and the mail server is open to send email to that account.
