I tried both these solutions and it is still not showing the actual cost at the WBS level.

For 1. I set up CN41n as explained then settled the work order and the actual cost still disappeared off the WBS elements as before.

For 2. the project version works but we settle work orders weekly and it is automatic so we would have to create a version before every settlement. Very high maintenance effort.

budget Vs actual values against WBS even after settlement of the PM order to track the actual
expense against planed budget in hierarchical format.

 

 

1. After settlement You can achieve this req. by using
   Report CN41N - Go in change layout - select field ( Proj. Plan Cost, Project
   Actual Cost & Budget).

 

 

OR

 

 

1. Before settlement create a project version using T Code
   CN72 and after settlement just run the cost element report over project using
   version key.
